Matt founded Innovative Practice in 2017 after 7 years of Practice Management. He brings a unique combination of in-depth knowledge of primary care, IT / logic acumen from a first class degree in Physics and insight to the challenges clinicians face, having been married to a GP since 2006. He loves to enable practices and health care providers to work smarter, particularly through innovative use of SystmOne, to provide better care and saner clinicians.
Kate (AKA Mrs Doig) has been a GP since 2003. In a previous role as a GP partner, she roped in Matt to help the practice, which is how he got into practice management. She now juggles GP locuming, looking after 3 Doiglets, a dog, 4 cats, and chickens, and giving input to Innovative Practice PRN.
